Our History

Our Dedication to Quality

Family-owned and operated for over a century, Koepsell Funeral Home is proud to serve Greater Dodge and Columbia County. Whether we’re planning an intimate memorial service or a well-attended reception, we assist families with empathy and pay close attention to every detail.

Our Historic Past

Edwin H. Koepsell’s commitment to thoughtful and compassionate care was apparent from the outset. Beginning his career in funeral services in 1909, Koepsell was known about town as “the man with the horse-drawn hearse.” Having deep roots in the community along with a strong commitment to its cultural heritage, our staff is dedicated to serving area families in their time of need.

Our Legacy

As the oldest family-owned funeral home with the most experienced team of funeral directors in the area, we offer both expert knowledge and competitive prices. We can plan funeral services to be held at any location, whether it’s in a church or outdoors.

Our Facilities

Offering everything from traditional burial to modern cremation services performed in our state-of-the-art facilities, we strive to make every celebration of life meaningful. With five easy-to-reach locations, our funeral home tailors its services to meet the needs of you and your loved ones.

Our Commitment to Family

We are active in the communities we serve and treat every family we help like our own. Throughout the burial or cremation planning process, we encourage family involvement and foster a welcoming environment across all of our locations.
